Dragon Nest's arena is not a paradise exclusive for high-level players. Players of all levels and classes with different manipulation levels are able to have fun there. A specially designed balance system will keep the attributes of both sides in equilibrium and in this way veterans and newbies have a chance to battle it out in a fair circumstance.
1. Enter the Arena
In Dragon Nest, players have to launch PVP combats in a special Round Theater channel. There are three ways to get into that channel:

b. After entering the game, hit the Esc key to bring up the system menu, and then choose "Channel Options".
c. When playing the game, press the Ctrl key and use the mouse to click "Switch Channel" at the top right of the screen.
Go into the Round Theater and then talk to Manager Joseph to choose "Enter Arena".
2. Enter a PVP Room
In terms of PVP, Dragon Nest employs a game room mode like that in casual games. In the preparatory stage, players can view existing PVP rooms and choose one of them to join according to the limitations on level, model and map.
After selecting a room, players can click "Join" at the bottom right of the screen to enter it. Players can also click "Quick Join" at the bottom left of the screen to quickly enter a room which is in preparation or has enabled the Invasion function.
3. Create a PVP Room
Click "Create Room" at the bottom right corner and players can set the room name, map type, number of players, PVP mode and time/bout limit, activate the invasion and item function, and even make it a secret room. After that, click "Confirm" to create a room.
Dragon Nest provides PVP matches of different scales from 1 vs. 1 to 8 vs. 8 and up to 16 players are qualified to take part in a match at the same time.
As soon as players click "Confirm", they will get into the newly created PVP room instantly. The right side of the page displays the room information, while the left shows team members' information.
All participants will be automatically divided into two teams, but they can shift to the other team via the Change Team button at the top of the page. Members of a same team will be marked with the same hair color after entering the arena.
When all participants click "Ready", the room host can click "Start Game" and lead them to the PVP scene.
Arena Mode Instruction:Bout Mode: Dead members cannot revive. When all members of a team are defeated, the bout is over. All members of both teams will recover their HP and MP to the initial state and begin the next bout. Each bout is given a limited time. If the time is up, but not all members of a team are defeated, this bout will be recorded as a draw.
Rebirth Mode: In this mode, dead members can revive in several seconds. But each death will bring 1 point to the opponent team. When the time is up, the team with more points will win.
Invasion: When the Invasion function is enabled, even the game has begun, other players can also join in. They will be automatically assigned to either team.
Item: When the Item function is enabled, supplies will appear in the map from time to time. Additionally, supplies can be obtained by defeating opponents. However, if the Item function is disabled, no supplies will turn up in the map.
Please note that all players are not allowed to carry auxiliary items in combat.
4. Battle Process
After entering the battlefield, both sides will be given several seconds to make preparations, when the time comes, they can stage and enjoy a stirring battle.
Members belonging to a same team will have the same hair color. All players'
HP, MP, Attack, Effect and other attributes have been calculated and balanced by
the balance system just in order to ensure a fair battle. However, please don't
relax your vigilance, or else you are likely to lose in several seconds.
5. Battle Completion
In the course of a combat, players can press Shift to check the war situation and evaluation at any time. As long as a team wins, the PVP battle will end instantly and the system will evaluate it.
The evaluation factors include Victories, Number of Killing/Being Killed Times, Killing Points and Supported Points, which will determine how much PVP Exp players will earn at last.
When a battle is over, check the evaluation interface for details:
A player's PVP level will upgrade along with the increase of PVP Exp. Check it in the character info panel.
