Paladin is the main tank in the team, viability is No.1. 
To be the tank, you have to study Block and Stance of Faith to max level.
Why not Provocation? I think it useless. When elemental lord use skills, you never have chance to provoke monsters. They barely look at you.
I like Armor Break – instant, reduce defense, 2 times damage, hit enemies on land, never break the skeleton monster into pieces, 8s CD time, break the monster's shield, so many reasons for you to study it to max level. Only disadvantage is that it costs lots Mana. 
Divine Vengeance will help you escape from the battle center.
It's my first time writing such guide. We can discuss. If you shout at me "That's totally wrong!" , it's fair enough. I need your advice.
