Greetings to everyone,

This will be my first time making a in-depth guide on BowMasters and before we start, let's do a simple introduction on BowMaster itself.

BowMaster : -

The BowMaster is always considered an "underdog" or the weakest class in Dragon Nest due to it's lack of party buff and debuff on monsters. They are also generally low in HP and defense which makes them even more "useless" in the eyes of the others. However, to make up for our disadvantages, we are given the mobility to be able to dodge with IE or so called the invulnerable frames to make up for the low HP and defense. We are also blessed with high critical which other classes will never have. Our critical shall be the one that prove them wrong.

Ok, now that we have a simple understanding about what BowMaster is about, let's start by explaining the skills that we have.

Archer Skill Tree : -

Twin Shot : - Always considered as our bread and butter skill for damaging or harassing regardless of PvE / PvP.

A must have skill. Damage Skill Crest is highly recommended for PvE / PvP.

Piercing Shot : - Damage wise not so appealing. Leave it at pre-requisite.

Multi-Shot : - Great damage for PvE and armor breaker for PvP. Leave it at level 1 will do. Long CD compared to Twin Shot.

Magic Arrow : - Nothing much about this skill. Weak damage. Only useful in PvP for flinching. Leave it at pre-requisite.

Pin Wheel : - Gives you invulnerable frame and pushes back small monsters or players. Get it.

Moon Kick : - PvP-Based skill. Learn it for PvP, if not, drop it.

Willow Kick : - Similar to Moon Kick.

High Spin Kick : - Never really tried it. But pretty worthless IMO. Get it at your own risk? tense

Somersault Kick : - I learnt it for the sake of PvP because it helps me waste opponent's Aerial Evasion with Stun Shot. Good combo starter IMO too.

BowMaster Skill Tree : -

Charged Shot : - A very good Aerial Evasion remover and deals decent damage. A must have for Snipers.

50% Action Speed Skill Crest is recommended.

Aerial Chain : - Bonus skill for evading. Damage wise not too appealing. Leave it at pre-requisite.

Siege Stance : - Pretty good in PvP when used at right timing and good for disabling people by making them fly all day long

But leave it at pre-requisite.

Arrow Shower : - Our main DPS skill for Sniper. Damage skill crest is recommended.

Arrow Barrage : - Ultimate. Still need to explain?

Scope Arrow : - Deals decent damage but since we are going for Sniper. Leave it at pre-requisite.

Rapid Shot : - Similar to Scope Arrow but shorter range. Leave it at pre-requisite.

Swift Shot : - One of the most OP skills I feel that the BowMaster have it PvP. High invulnerability frame and damage. But once again, pre-requisite.

Tracking Arrows : - Our main focus of PvP rely on this. High damage, low cooldown and the best of all, no aiming needed

Revolution Ballista : - Cool Ultimate for Artillery but then seems pretty useless though. Never tried it before. But Sniper can just move along and ignore this.

Fake Shot : - Good filler and flinching skill in PvP. Pre-requisite.

Triangle Shot : - Our longest invulnerability frame we will ever have. And the more we get slowed, the longer the invulnerable frame

Ankle Shot : - One of the main damager and disabling skills for BowMasters. Nuff said.

Spiritual Excel : - Max it for PvE. Boost Agility and Intellect for more damage.

Slyph's Aid : - Max it for PvP. Gives you additional range.

Longbow Mastery : - Passive skill that boost damage and range for longbow. Duh ?

Crossbow Mastery : - Read Longbow Mastery and replace the word longbow with crossbow.

Well that's it for the skill explanation and if you notice the skill tree I placed on top, it's my personal build which is made for PvE & PvP. The flaw that it have is that I will be on a disadvantage playing with other BowMaster if they decides to use Slyph's Aid against me since BowMaster depend on range to determine the victor and I prefer playing close range meaning I often move close to the opponent and kick them instead of just kiting from behind.

Here is a short video of me PvP-ing : -

It's my first time making a PvP video and it might look weird and unnatural. I seems to make more mistake than usual maybe I am too nervous   Just hope you all have a rough idea of how a kickacher( I made this name up) works.

This is my skill bar if you can't see it properly in the video.

Skill Heraldries : -

1) Twin Shot : - {Damage 20%} Gives high DPS overtime and with a cooldown of 4.5s. Definitely worth to get.

2) Charged Shot : - {Action Speed 50%} Reduce the casting animation of Charged Shot which is a great help to both PvE and PvP.

3) Ankle Shot : - {Cooldown 12%} Definitely worth getting for PvP. PvE some prefer damage but I am going to stick with cooldown.

4) Arrow Shower : - {Damage 20%} An additional boost of damage to our main DPS AOE skill. Need no further explanations.

5) Tracking Arrows : - {Damage 20%} Good for PvP. However I drop this since I am only to leave it at level 1 and I am more of physical.

6) Spin Kick : - {Action Speed 50%} Good for combos in PvP. Get it at your own risk. It's hard to master the kick.

My current Skill Heraldries : -

Enhancement Heraldries : -

Destruction : - Boost Physical Attack

Magician : - Boost Magicial Attack

Fatal : - Boost Critical

Wind : - Boost Agility

Life Vitality : - Boost Max HP

Health : - Boost Max HP & Defense

Wise : - Boost Intellect

Ultimate : - Boost Final Damage

These are the core plates to be taken for now until the VIP Pass for the extra 3 Heraldry slots are released. When the VIP Pass is released, the addtional 3 plates that I will taking are;

Bear : - Boost Strength

Shining : - Boost Defense

Tent : - Boost Magicial Defense

The 3rd Stats for our Heraldries can vary. Since we are naturally blessed with high critical, we should aim for 3rd Stats such as Attack Power / Final Damage.

Now let's start on building up the items that are required for the current level cap which is 40.

I personally will recommend on at least getting a full Epic Rarity set as they gives more bonus as compared to Rare Rarity although it's more costly to get.

We will first start on the potentials that we will like to have on armors first.

Firstly, since we are Agility-based classed, obviously we are going to have the Agi 4.50% potential on all of our armors. If you are saying for rare armors, it's only possible to get 1 stats with 4.50% or in the case for Int is 3.50%. But since I am recommending Epic Armors, the secondary stats for the armor should either be an Int 3.50% or Str 4.50% coupled with a Max HP 6.50% which is essential for all parts of the armors.

Now for the enhancement levels of the armor, the minimum requirement for armor in my opinion will definitely at least be a +9. Archer have generally low HP base compared to other classes and we have to improve our armor to be able to match up for our HP loss and defense. Therefore a +9 is definitely a must for the Upper and Lower body whereas you can just leave the other partssuch as Mittens, Booties andHeadband at +8 since the bonus isn't really that appealing to make you want to +9 it unless you are planning to +12 which is definitely crazy unless you have unlimited budget to be jelly-ing an Epic set to fully +12.

And now for the Suffix of our armors.

It is needless to say that Wind will be the optimal Suffix that we will be aiming for unless you are planning to go for tanker/safety set which in that case you will have to craft the HP Suffix on your armor in sacrifice for the damage lost for not crafting Wind.

Now for the weapons.

It is best that you are able to +10 an Epic Rarity weapon regardless of Main or Secondary weapon since they really add ALOT damage compared to just a plain +8 which most players are trying to get. I know it will be costly to be making a +10 Epic Rarity weapon but to be able to perform well on BowMaster, it is definitely a must to be willing to spend more. We are not like Elemental  Lord or Paladin or even Mercenary. We don't have Elemental Attacks and we don't have crazy damage transformation like Mercenaries for now. Hopefully we will have some in the future. And needless to say, the potentials for the weapon will definitely be this  or this . Unless you are rich enough to be getting Attack Power and Magic Power together coupled with Agility and Critical 17%.

The standard Suffix for our Main and Secondary weapon are always Wind and Destruction respectively (With respect to PvE, not ladder).

Here is a video of me casually farming at NTT (Nameless Tyrant Tomb) ~

This is my current stats though. Should be decent but can be improved. I am still using some Level 32 Heraldries

As you can see my Critical is pretty low due to the recent change of Necklace and Earrings to Apocalypse Accessories for Final Damage. I am planning to change my Rings to Apocalypse Rings too. My Physical Attack might drop even further since i am using Destruction Sylvie Ana Rings but the Final Damage is able to make up for the overall damage lost. Now I have to focus on building up my critical once again. Hopefully I am able to get a few Critical 17% on either Rings or Weapons to boost up my Critical.

I personally only have 1 3rd stats for now since I am sort of saving up for Level 50 already. So my stats is still not as perfect as you all will thought it will be. So pardon me.

Oh yes, and if you ever want to get cash accessories, the best accessory for now will be the Mysterious Cat Eye Ring.

Uhm.. I got no idea what to say anymore. First time making a in-depth guide anyway That's it for now I guess hopefully you all will benefit from this guide of mine.

All comments and suggestions will be welcomed. I will improve on the guide if there's anything new to update. Thank you!
