Just so you guys know, Getting FD atm is futile because if your reason was to (gear up for SDN) i'm soooo very sorry to tell you it won't happen.

Here's reason number 1

We will be getting the UN NERFED SDN as said by Addison Kang during MPS

hence if we were to compare ourselves to our cousin regions of KDN and CDN, noone within that region completed SDN during the lv 40 cap period (Un-nerfed version) they obviously had better equipment than is and have a much more balanced and experienced player base...CDN having (+13/14 apoc and manti sets easily)

***they were given 6 months and 3 months respectively to try and clear the UN-Nerfed version but none made it***

Reason 2

We will be getting SDN after the Academic patch BEFORE lv 50 cap and also BEFORE the Farm(revive apple) patch.

which means unlike CDN and KDN we will be at a bigger disadvantage as we don't have the revive apple hence the inability to revive

Reason 3

Even if you do get max FD, having hp of 50k(average if u had max FD you will only have this amount) won't allow you to survive SDN even in the nerfed version. As they say DEAD DPS = 0 DPS.

Reason 4

FD is only useful once lvl50 cap is released as it will actually allow you to utilize it properly since you can use both in SDN and lv50 nests

Thus getting lv 40 FD plates atm are not worth it because at lv 50 you will need 1300 FD and is UNACHIEVABLE using lv 40 FD plates...you will need ALL lv 50 with 3rd stat to achieve 1300 FD at lv 50.

**that is provided of course we don't get the Heraldry slot expansion in cash shop**

Reason 5

With all the above reasons, the only good FD plate at lv 40 will be to you is so that you can use it against apoc/manti bosses

which imho doesn't even require any 3rd stat plate to beat...heck it doesn't even require a full lv40A set...

SO, is spending 25k per plate worth it just to beat Apoc/Manti boss?? (price quoted and controlled by resellers Terridas,Ignitius,YatuP24, Tirador and the like of them others)


Suggestion

I Suggest everyone focus on getting other stat plates for the moment especially crit plates because unlike FD plates which does NOT ignore defence, Crit plates ignores defence (for now) which will greatly affect your damage dealt to SDN boss (if you still think you can complete it or want to try)

***HOWEVER COME LV 50 cap, t4 patch will probably be implemented which will NERF crit and make not ignoring def/mdef which means the real reason to buy lv50 FD plates only THEN***

Let me REPEAT lv 50 CAP is a LOOOOONG ways to go. It will probably only come in october/november earliest.

There's SDN(will be there to let us try out completing for a few months)>>>FARM>>>nerfed SDN>>>lv50

Here's a simple calculation why FD is not as good as other stats and will cost you more


FD max damage = 100% of current damage

Max Crit = Additional 85% of crit damage dealt at 94% chance

If you had 4000 matk for instance

This will give you 

8000 base matk for FD buids (does not ignore defence)

and 

7400 base matk ignores defence

SO, should you attack SDN boss with a guess estimate of 5000 mdef, you will only be dealing 3000 base matk damage to sdn boss if you're using FD

Whereas if you did use Crit plates, it will deal 7400 PURE DAMAGE to SDN boss.

Get the picture??


ALSO as for pricing, 1 FD 3rd stat plate = 25k gold

SO, you will need 3 of these + 1 ultimate plate to get max FD+ 2 different sets apoc accessories

that will be 75k + 2.2k + 8k = 85.2k to get max FD


If you went crit plates you will probably only need 4/5 crit plates priced at 5.5k each

which only amounts to 22k which comes to a difference of 63.2k gold

Imagine what you can do with that kind of money. You'd probably be able to buy Sun sparks and get vortex pouches to get a +11-14 set!!!
