After clearing the 1st stage, you can proceed to the large area of the map, where you can ride mount. The oasis in the middle of the map can heal Hp/Mp.

There are a total of 5 bosses which guard the seal to the entrance of the dragon.



The merchant NPC near the oasis will ask you to find 5 of his bottles (which is likely dropped from the 5 bosses?)

There will be additional rewards if you killed all the 5 bosses.

You can clear the 4 bosses (except golem) in any order you want.

The golem so far cannot be challenged at all. It is speculated that it can only be challenged after you defeat the 4 bosses.

When the stage starts, all party members is supposed to run south (according to the mini map) , with the Sand Worm in hot pursuit.

There some rocks blocking the way and the party is supposed to dispose of them to proceed.

The worm will try to suck party member towards itself and slow down your attempt to escape.

After that, you will see some explosive on the ground. You are supposed to push up to 5 of these explosive to the southern wall and detonate them.

This will open a path to a wider field where the real battle starts.

Once you are inside the wider field, make sure you don't stand in the middle and in the path of the boss when it rush in or else you will be killed by the boss instantly. Try to stay at the left/right edges of the map.



Sand Worm Hazar
This will open a path to a wider field where the real battle starts. The boss cannot be damaged with normal means.

Every 1 minute 20sec, the boss will summon 3 pillar-like explosives. These explosives will freeze nearby party members when it lands.

You are supposed to attack these explosive and ignite it while the boss's head is in the AOE of the explosive (marked by the circle around it). It will deplete his faint bar (similar to archbishop nest final golem boss).

Once the faint bar is emptied with 3 explosives (each 1 depletes ~45% of the bar), the boss will faint for ~10sec. This is the ONLY time to deal damage to him, at its tail. After that , the boss will regain its position and you will have to repeat the process again.

If these explosives are not ignite or "killed" in 1 minute, they will explode on their own and deal ~30% HP per pillar to all party members and freeze all of them.

It is important to remember that sometimes, if you only destroy 1 out of the 3 pillars and the worm fainted. The 2 pillars remaining on the field might explode anytime and freeze all party members.

It is recommended that you take down at least 2 pillars when you faint the worm. Well, you can take down all the 3 pillars to faint the worm but this is normally not necessary. Leaving 1 on the field will result in 30% HP dmg to all, but it should be safe most of the time.

Boss Basic Skills
- Bite & Stomp: The boss first plunges his head onto the sand, dealing damage to anyone in front and pull it up quickly. This is followed by a jumping stomp. It will stay stagnant after this for 4-5 sec before regaining its position. While the worm's head is on the ground after casting this skill, you can use high sa break skill to reduce the SA bar slightly. Jump to avoid the stomp damage. The stomp damage can also be avoided if you are standing on top of the elevated sand hills at the sourthern edges of the map.
- Tentacles Sweep: Only hit frontal area of the boss.
- Roar: Dark waves emanates throughout the whole field. Knock down all party members. Doesn't deal much damage.

New Boss Skill at Hpx3
- Charge
: Charge in a circular manner.
- Sand Pit Hell: The boss will cast this everytime one bar of HP get depleted; more accurately when the Hp reach roughly 10% before it gets depleted (HPx3.1, x2.1,x1.1). It summons 3 pillar explosive to the top right, top left and bottom mid of the map (see Figure below).

It will hide underground and create a sandpit with very high suction at the middle of the map. Your party is required to deplete at least 50% HP of the 3 pillars before they are being sucked into the pit (13~15sec after the pillar lands). Take note that you should NOT destroy any of those pillars before it reaches the worm.

When done successfully, the boss skill will be cancelled. If the party fail to get either one of those pillar down to at least 50% HP or destroy one of the pillars before it gets to the middle, the whole party will be wiped out.


How to deal with Sandpit Hell:


It is recommended that you should take down the HP of the boss in the following manner to get the minimize the appearance of sandpit hell:
1st Faint: HP x4 => HP x 2.5
2nd Faint: HP x 2.5 => HP x 1.5
3rd Faint: HPx1.5 => HP x 0

Doing so will synchronize the sandpit hell casting, such that the worm will only cast it RIGHT after it wakes up from his faint status.

New Boss Skill at Hpx2
- Direct Stomp
: A direct jumping stomp without the biting animation. High damage.

Rolling Attack: The boss curls up and rolls forward.
