[11-11] Dragon Nest Level 70 Skill Jade and Elemental Conversion Jade
I will use academic shirt and pants for comparison again.
The blue-shaded cells indicate the stats granted by A-rank HP Jade (#2, 25% chance) and Agi Jade (#1, 50% chance).
A few obvious observations:
• Both phy and mag def of 70A is 67% higher than 60S!
• Hp gained from enchantment of 70A armor is 38% higher than 60S.
• Both HP and stats gain percentage are slightly less than the old potential.
• Both Agi and Vit bonus from the jades are higher than the current 60S-II wind suffix armor.
Since there are only 2 stats slot in armor, you can only pick 2 stats on each piece of armor. Previously, potential system gives you 3 x percentage increase for each armor.
However, do note that the stats granted by these jades are very high; most stats are higher than the previous stats bonus from Vit and Jade suffix.
Armor Part Discrimination
This is one of the major revamp of the armory system. In the suffix system, the stats granted by shirt and pants far outweight the stats bonus from helm, glove and shoe.
However, the dragon jade system eliminates this discrimination. Each dragon jade gives exactly the same amount of fixed and percentage stats regardless of where you equip it.
This is the lost of the 3rd percentage stats is insignificant since it is partially compensated if not all, by the higher stats granted by helm, shoe and glove.
For example, with the above Hp and Agi jade on all 5 armor parts, you gain 4025 Vit, 5195 Agi and 88,925 Max HP, along with 25% HP and 20% agi.
That's alot of stats!
Not to mention, previously, you can't even crafted the same suffix on all parts, for example vit suffix can only be crafted on shirt and pants; wind suffix cannot be crafted on glove.
Now with this system, you can add whatever stats you wish to whichever parts you like.
Pure Phy Att/Mag Att Class Advantage
For a pure mag att/ phy att class, this sytem allows them to be very offensive in gear building. This is especially so for AGI-based classes, namely Engineer and Acrobat. Building Agi for every part is almost a no-brainer since it give them raw attack and crit at the same time.
On the other hand, other classes might want to slot STR/INT jade for raw attack and AGI for crit.
However, this system might prove to be a new challenge for classes with both magical and physical attack in their skill tree, such as swordmaster and sniper, since they will either need to find a balance between the INT or STR/AGI jade or focus on either one of them.
The stats granted for the same suffix varies depending on which class the gear belongs to. See below for an example with 60S Wind Suffix II armor:
For the stats gain (in this case, vit and agi), almost every parts has this trend of Cleric > Warrior > Academic > Kali > Archer > Sorceress.
This is true even for Int suffix, which is supposed to be the primary stats for sorceress ; sorceress gets the lowest int bonus among all classses =.=
However, the introduction of the new dragon jade system narrows the gap between the stats bonus for each classes. Only the base phy def and mag def of the armor varies for different classes.
I believe the developer has used the middle class (academic and kali) as a benchmark for the stats adjustment (which is another reason why i use academic gear in my example in part 1 and part 2).
Academic and Kali are not expected to experience much change of stats gain relative of other class. However, cleric and warrior are expected to experience a soft nerf on their expected stats relative to other classes (take note that it is 'relative'; they would still gain more stats with 70A). On the other hand, mages and archers would be gaining much more stats than ever before.
